Predictions for 2008
• D/FW will be the new hot spot for metal. The underground scene that’s been building these last few years will finally explode onto the national radar.
• At least two new clubs will open up, giving bands some much-needed new choices for playing live. Hint: they won’t be in Dallas proper.
• In the wake of all this, a new REAL rock radio station will finally get off the ground.
• Some unknown, unsigned band will land on the soundtrack for Guitar Hero 4, and become the first band ever to score a platinum record without a label or radio support.
• The country will elect our first-ever black President.
• Cowboys win the Super Bowl, baby!!
