As winter comes to an end and spring begins, concert season starts up!

Rock icon and legendary Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley stopped to sign autographs for some lucky fans that caught him as he arrived at the Dallas House of Blues. Unfortunately for the huge mob waiting by the back door after the show, his tour manager decided to sneak him out the front door and into a waiting vehicle. Members of his new band, including former Brides of Destruction drummer/vocalist Scott Coogan, hung out with fans for a while. Coogan talked about how Ace was totally clean and sober, and that no alcohol or drugs were permitted on the tour noting that, “We’re even eating healthy.” As anyone who saw the show could attest, clean and sober definitely agrees with Frehley, as he’s never sounded better!

Despite pouring down rain, actor/musician Billy Bob Thornton (who was opening for George Thorogood and the Destroyers at the House of Blues) signed autographs for fans under cover of an umbrella. As the storm became more intense, Thorogood’s tour manager offered to take fans’ stuff inside and have George sign it for them.

After thoroughly kicking the collective asses of a jam packed crowd at Lola’s in Ft. Worth, Aussie hard rockers Airbourne - and surprisingly killer opening act EndeverafteR - stuck around to sign autographs, take photos and hang out with fans.

After an amazing show at Ft. Worth’s Bass Hall The Moody Blues’ Justin Hayward and John Lodge signed for a few lucky fans who caught them leaving the venue.

More to come as the spring/summer concert season heat’s up!
