Looking for something fun to do for spring break this year? How about a road trip to San Antonio! That’s where Lance King, owner of Nightmare Records will be holding the second annual Nightmare Metal Fest.
This year’s diverse lineup includes heavy metal veterans Vicious Rumors, Seven Witches - with Jack Frost (guitarist/founder), vocalist James Rivera (Helstar) and bassist Mike LaPond (Symphony X). Plus there’s Krucible - featuring vocalist Lance King (Balance of Power/Avian) with Mindcrime’s Eric Halpern (guitar), Don LaFon (guitar), Shane Dubose (bass) and Adam Rawlings (keyboards). Also booked are Houston’s Six Minute Century - with Krucible’s Don LaFon (guitar); Theocracy featuring stellar vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Matt Smith; Chicago’s Sacred Dawn and Mindwarp Chamber; Atlanta’s Halcyon Way; Dallas’ Aska; Bay Area thrash metal from Imagica; San Antonio’s One of Sixx; “Celtic battle metal” from Lunarium and the music of Aetherius. The show will be held at The Warehouse Music Venue, 1305 E. Houston St. in San Antonio, TX 78205. For more venue information, call (210) 782-2817.
