Members of the HB staff loved our month off (Dec./Jan. combo issue. It serves as a much-needed break and “catch up” period for us. But, we’re now back on track this month with more local news and happenings. Most national acts go on hiatis over the Holidays... but they’re back on the road now. Rusty Wier benefit a big success
Many thanks to all of you from Rusty Wier for helping raise over $4,000 for his chemotherapy. The donations came in all sizes and were duly appreciated, large or small. Some very generous (anonymous) donations helped plump up the pot.

Withdrawal symptoms
Hi Linda,
Haven’t talked to you in a while. I wrote a couple of reviews of discs that I wore out this past year. If memory serves, I don’t believe the HB staff reviewed them in ‘07 — and I do read every issue cover to cover. If you can use one or both in the next issue that would be great!
Every January, I start getting HB withdrawal symptoms about halfway through the month. Looking forward to the next issue. Thanks, as always, for your support of local music all these years.
