Busy month last month, with some of the usual trauma — celebrating our 15th year... email being “out” for four days... (some good; some bad). There’s no end in sight for the many national concerts going on the next couple of months. Must be summer! Oh yeah.. that’s why it’s 96 degrees and more.

Linda, You always represent Dallas music so well — but I am sure you had many archives to go through. I wanted to send in one small correction, which may have just been mislabeling a picture this month. The pic (shown as CJ in the 15 Year write up) is actually CJ SULLINGER, who was with Strangers, then with Endangered Species. CJ Pierce from Drowning Pool was never with Endangered Species.

I’m so embarrassed. Yes, I was sorting through hundreds of photos I have of local bands. This particular one simply said, “CJ, Endangered.” Not sure how I made the jump to Drowning Pool’s CJ, except that we had a feature story on them last month, and they were on my mind. I certainly knew better! (I was writing DP’s members when they were part of Wonderful Life.) Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Note to readers — CJ Sullinger is living in Mexico. A former Strangers band mate said CJ would be thrilled to know his photo was in HB and he’s going to let him know to look online. (Linda)
